At the end of November, Inform GmbH presented innovative technologies for the vending machine sector at the exclusive NFC Vending Talk and invited people to an inspiring exchange on the company premises over punch, chestnuts and fried potatoes.

The focus was on the following three key features

QR code scan: This function will enable ATM operators to redeem QR codes in addition to NFC payments. The development offers numerous new opportunities to make operations more efficient and improve the customer experience. Deposit redemption with credit reversal or loyalty programs & Discounts are just some of the many different options that can be implemented.

Shopping cart function: Select and pay for multiple items in a single purchasing process, instead of buying each item individually as before. This saves time and increases convenience, especially for larger purchases – keyword vending machine shops. If goods are only partially issued, e.g. in the case of an empty slot selection, only issued goods will be charged. There is no need to return cash.

PIN on Glass: Thanks to this function, payments can be authorized securely and directly from the terminal screen. The previous purchase limit of 50 euros for contactless payments is now a thing of the past. A real advantage for larger purchases without compromising on user-friendliness – together with the shopping cart function, an unbeatable team.
